Another tough game for Town when we face a much improved Bolton side who have recorded 5 wins off the belt before the game tomorrow. We should also welcome Jay Tabb for his home debut tomorrow. Our home form is the key to our ultimate survival and in recent home games we have seen valuable points gained against Leicester & Blackpool. We don't score many and we don't concede many but as this is at Portman Road I am going for yet another scratchy win. I would love to see a repeat of that Epic play-off second leg game against Bolton! Mind you I don't know if my nerves could stand it.

TOWN 2 - Bolton 1

Chopra
Smith

Henderson, Stearman, Chambers, Smith, Cresswell, Hyam, N'Daw, Edwards, Tabb, McGoldrick, Chopra

Subs JET, Loach, McClean, Murphy, Hewitt

No McGoldrick?? You prefer McLean to McGoldrick for the bench? I can understand not starting with him, but seriously.....
I think the team virtually picks itself now, it's now just which two of McGoldrick, Chopra and Murphy will play up top. I like DM, but i also would like to see Murphy back in the starting line up, and i don't think Murphy and McGoldrick compliment each other.
I can see the form book totally being tossed aside tomorrow, and i honestly think there will be plenty of goals. I honestly havn't a scooby as to who will get the points, but i reckon 4-2 to someone.

I know...i get told this often. I like the power of correcting people, and the feeling of superiority over them.

I agree with warky's edit for team......I would though swap over Hewitt & Stearman.

2-1

Chopra & Tommy.

Town have a few things laid on tomorrow, anyone going down early & staying on after for the rugger match.?

Murphy & McGoldrick up top, Hewitt is not such a big loss but who to replace Cresswell?

I'd go for a 532

Henderson
Hewitt, Stearman, Chambers, Smith, Cresswell
Drury, Hyam, Tabb
Chopra Murphy

of course that will never happen!!

I'm going for a 1-0 but not idea to who!!

looks like Hewitt is out, so will be replaced by Spearman. Nouble is out but Chops is fit again. Cresswell is also a minor doubt

2-1 Town
Brown or Mings to take Cressys place, most likely Brown (or Kisnorbo)

Tommy Smith got a fair bit of practice at full back during Keano’s nightmarish tenure. Remember Smith and Eastman at full back with Troy Brown as one of the centre backs because of Royston’s amazing ability to throw multi-millions at a squad and still be left with huge, gaping holes everywhere? I still wake up in a panic at various times of the night. And that’s not to mention the Paul Jewell heeby-jeeby flashbacks I get during quiet moments on the train.

Maybe Mings will get a run-out, especially as MM said he’d have played him at Villa if he’d been eligible. Failing that, and if Smithy isn’t asked to fill in, we’ve just signed up David October from the youth team who’s one of your actual left backs. Highly unlikely, though. Nobody mentions Joe White anymore which is a damn shame.

As long as they don’t move Edwards there…

I see Hewitt is out with a hip injury – hasn’t he had both of them operated on already? Worrying.
