Deliberating going to the Ipswich game with my 10 year old as its about an hours drive from me.......sounds awful I know but should I be bothered??
Its exactly how I feel, every game is an away game for me 2-3 hours each way and I know how you feel. for me, the experience of a new ground is better than the game, eg Yeovil.
There have been some far worse QPR teams than this in recent years. I'd go for it. It's a nice away day and we tend to do well there.
Only an hour? Yes of course you should go. Away games have a far better atmosphere I find. Plus you might stumble across a quality pie
Another negative down beat thread and this highlights arrogance from the fans. We had a 15 year gap from the Premiership and stayed there for 2 years now we have a big chance of going straight back up but from the mood on here youâd think it was our right to be promoted and in style. If we donât go up this year prospects for the club are that weâll be here a long time. I think with all the negativity creeping in because of the low scoring nature of our games (which is partly our fault and partly because a lot of teams turn up and play counter attack off the back of 10/11 men behind the ball) many on here have lost sight of the fact just how big this season is for the club. This is potentially a promotion season and we need to remember that 3 points against Ipswich would be massive. Iâm looking forward to going. But saying that I was looking forward to going to Watford. But if we do go up I want to have those memories again like Routledge scoring away when down to 10 men against Reading, or Mackie equaliser against Derby. Those memories are amplified if you are actually there. You donât know in advance which game is going to be that memorable one but thatâs part of the reason you pay your money and turn up. For groups of 3 or 4 Greater Anglia from Liverpool street does a group save ticket. Costs us £19 any time return. Only an hour direct from there
Jesus Christ man. We're 3rd in the division, a point off the playoffs, have 4 points from our last 2, and are away to the 6th placed team. Cry me a flippin' river. I'd give this one a miss and let a proper fan snap up the ticket if i were you.
Tickets are still on sale so they aren't exactly getting snapped up Grifter!! I take it from your response that you don't think i am a proper supporter and so shouldn't go with my son? In the same way as I travelled with my old man following the R's together for 25 years? Interesting approach! Please explain what makes a proper fan Grifter......
I'm sure you are Loopy, but asking whether you should go to a game in our current situation is bound to rankle with a few. We've been absolutely pasted for the last two years, are finally having a bit of success- but you sound like we're in the bottom 3 after a 15pt deduction. When're we going to arrange the protests & post match sit-ins? "David Scriven ‏@dmscriven 24m Just updating ticket news for @Official_ITFC game on Saturday. Less than 200 tickets left now." Get a couple quick!
It's quite obvious that QPR are just a means for you to vent Flyer. I'm sure you're a convivial chap in other aspects of your life, but going to Loftus road never seems to give you any pleasure whatsoever. There's no subtly or nuance to your posting, it's all sweeping hyperbole. "flushed down the toilet", give me strength
Thanks Guys Thank you for purchasing. This is confirmation that your booking has been completed. So who else on here is going??
I'm there Loopy, but then I do live there! Am I looking forward to the most important match of the season? Er' no, I'm dreading it . I hate losing in Suffolk more than anywhere else, but I would willingly take that this saturday IF we were to go down attacking & fighting. Instead I expect to sit through an uncontested defeat . How I hope that I'm wrong.
