No presser for this one, as is normally the case when we have a Tuesday game following a Saturday one. As far as I'm aware we still have a fully fit squad, though it's likely we'll start with the same team that played Brighton. I honestly don't want to start this up again, but I thought this is why the City Youtube channel only had the Saturday pressers, because we didn't do proper ones on the Tuesday? Or is that not normally the case?
Blimey. I'm actually embarrassed for Chazz. His hearts in the right place, but is he good enough for us now? Let's see if he steps up to the plate for tomorrow.
If the Tuesday game follows a Saturday one, we normally don't have one, but we usually have them for Wednesday games and I expect one ahead of Friday's game.
This for me is a massive game. Despite their recent form, I don't see them as mugs either, they're still in with a shout of the playoffs. Obviously we'll be too much for them, buoyed by our antics at the weekend. Should be a good game.
We have a great record against them by all reports, so really should be winning this. I'm finding our form a bit hard to read at the moment, W-L-W-D-D but some good performances despite it.
With Huddlestone back in favour after beating lower division Bury a lot may depend on if the opposition give him space or not. Hayden, after all the Bruce talk of signing him, got dropped for no real reason and Meyler isn't first choice anymore.
ive been 4 or 5 times and cant recall us ever winning there, I always think of it as a tough place to go and think a draw would be decent. good news is I cant go tomorrow. edit- turns out my memory is abysmal weve won twice and ive been at both
just noticed our record, turns out we lost the first one I ever went too and that must have scarred me for life, and distorted my view... strange its happened with just Ipswich tho, if first game defeats are anything to go by, id think we never won anywhere!
