I'm in Bristol this week, armed with my trusty iPad. Is it possible to watch a stream on these things, safely?

    Flash doesn't work does it?

I put something about this on here a couple of weeks ago. There is a browser called Puffin which lets you use flash sights like first row etc. also one called Photon which lets you use flash and switch it n and off. Both seem a bit quicker than Safari for some things. Also some things which won't come up on YouTube play on these.

Haven't found one yet, however I did find www.liveonlivetv247.net, but it only shows Sky Sports, so far that I've found.

Ah cheers I'll look that up some time. Likely to be away a lot in the coming months so it might be useful for mid weekers.

I watched a stream from first row on my iPad using Puffin Browser tonight. Decent browser and it gets round the flash problem on iPads.

Do you have to pay for that after a trial?

    .

No. There is is a Puffin Browser which says free and one that doesn't on the App Store for some reason. The other one is the newer one which is also free. Photon is free. They are both in the App Store so are OK to download. Photon has a few more settings to adjust to help with bandwidth problems to try and stop excessive buffering etc.
