Did anyone see any of the games, either on TV or in person? Sounds like they were a success. Got a lot of time for Harry, seems like a good'un.
He's taken his military duties seriously, been on the front-line and, being a royal, that counts for something. For me anyway.
Golfer Gregg Norman almost qualified to play in next year's Invictus Games, what with him nearly cutting his hand off......whatever you were doing with that chainsaw stop and let an expert do it next time Gregg. Big respect to those that participated, by the way
Doesn't everybody in the military, been on the frontline? How many taliban did he garot then? Their existence counts **** all for me.. Sorry mate but the Southern Royal Family for me is a massive no go. I'm stopping here mate as I will flip and regret it in the morning
He was a soldier like any other. Anyone fancy slagging off Commachio or Billy here? Because I'm damned if I will. You can call a man royal, or whatever you like. But at the end of the day he was there on the ground. Where were you?
You're missing my point Joe, but no problem mate, it wasn't my intention to cause another ****-storm.
I feel quite sorry for Harry. He lost his ma when he was young, those rumours about who his father might be still persist and he's ginger. Seriously though, he can't help being a royal......although he could renounce his title, I suppose. He's alright is Harry.
I do like the lad and thanks for a good post. What I do hate though is this adoration of a person we will never meet or know. It's easy to respect when it's thrown in your face but a lot like me doing 24/7 to give someone an existence for me are the true ****ing heroes.. The Relic You don't know me mate so don't judge
I didn't judge, Joe. I asked, and not you in particular, but anyone who doesn't know Harry who did judge. The fact is the lad was there on the ground, and a bullet ain't fussy. He could have got it like anyone else, y'know. I was just trying to fair on the lad, that's all mate.
Do you really think there was the threat of a bullet for him? Did you really think that and it hates me to say it Prince Andrew was near a excocet in the Falklands in 82?
I respect him as a soldier. As an ex soldier myself he did put himself in harms way from what I have saw and read. However I understand that he is a royal and isn't really having the same worries as other soldiers like money issues etc and their worry of paying bills
When a bullet hits your chest, it doesn't matter much whether or not you can pay your bills any more. Come on fellers, give the boy his due.
Oh FFS he had as much chance as getting hit by a bullet as I have of shooting you tonight. I just cannot believe that people believe the **** they want to believe..
Mind, the s**t really would have hit the fan had he been shot. Or shot at even. Maybe we all need to think that Harry was there but it may have been a token gesture. Or maybe not....who knows? Personally, I've got more on my plate to worry about than whether or not Harry was in the firing line.....but then again, I've never been a soldier....so I'll shut up <grin>
I like you mate, you talk sense in a nonsense kind of way but it makes sense to me in a nonsensically way..
Royalty is an archaic system of a parasitical bloodlines that have only one aim-that's to benefit their own agenda - the sooner these scroungers become defunct the better
