Seem to remember McIndoe being linked with us quite heavily in the L1/Championship days. Especially as he seemed to keep being in sides that beat us (scoring for Donny and Barnsley, and playing for Wolves).
Says Error when I click the link. Just thinking we could have a lot more ex-players involved than we do if he'd signed.
some of these ****ers have so much cash, they don't know what to do with it. shame Mr Bullard got scammed, it was City supporters money.
Hard to feel sympathy for these fellas, don't they have enough sense to get some advice when something sounds too good to be true?
Robbie Keane could be looking for employment after this - apparently according to the HDM, he lost a "fortune" in this fiasco.. Worth a punt? http://www.hulldailymail.co.uk/Hull...lost-650-000/story-25803243-detail/story.html
Pyramid schemes have been on the go since God was a boy...Makes you wonder if millionaire footballers are to tight to pay for good financial advice. And if they do whatever they take any notice...How the feck can a bloke earning in excess of £20k a week be made bankrupt...ie David (Sid) James?
http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/art...offee-life-fortunately-wife-hand-talk-it.html "Former England footballer Phil Neville forced to admit he's never made a cup of instant coffee in his life - but fortunately his wife was on hand to talk him through it". These people are so far removed from the real world that when they are thrown into it at the end of their careers, they can't cope.
As much as that sounds ridiculous it's really not. Even without proper coffee not being that expensive anyway, nobody in my house growing up drank coffee so I never made it. Even when I started working it was all tea drinkers on my shifts so I never did. First time I had to make a cup of coffee was when I got my own place and my uncle came round. Now if you look on a jar of coffee there's nothing on it to tell you how to make it. I know it's obvious that you put the coffee in your cup and add water, but how much? Hot chocolate is made just the same way (add hot milk/water to powder and stir) but they always have on how many spoons to add (pretty much always 3, can't remember the last time it wasn't). Anyway, if I'd not asked him to come and sort out how much milk he was wanting in it he'd have ended up with 3 spoons of coffee in his mug.
