With the whole invest in Africa sponsorship and the links we were supposed to make in that talent pool, I'm a llittle disappointed in (from what I understand) our lack of bringing in talented youngsters from that part of the world.

Anyone agree or indeed know more than me on this score?

It will take years and years and years fella. Work permit rules mean we need to send any none EU youngsters without a duel nationality to Lierse SK(another partner) in Belgium for them to gain nationality.

Lierse currently have 11 players from outside the EU(all African but for a Brazilian), 3 of which have gained duel nationality, technically those 3 are available to us, if of course they'll be good enough,

Appreciate that info, Funky. Mind you, it's something I'm happy to wait for - one emerging Gyan, one teenage Mensah, etc., will repay all our patience.
