Introduction

Hello lads, was looking for a new members thread but can't see one so please feel free to move this to wherever suitable

Just thought I'd introduce myself as a new user, moved up to Newcastle for university (Northumbria) a fortnight ago and currently recovering from a ten day straight bender which I doubt I will ever repeat.

I'm with Somb on this one.

I'm sure it's not meant in bad taste, and once Jonas is fully recovered it could be a good name, but for now it leaves me a little uneasy. That said, nowt you can do about it for 21 days anyway I don't think. Might be worth having another think about it once you have that option though IMO

 

Jonas managed to have a laugh about playing down the right all the time now in his interview, and he's the sufferer here.

If that is the general concensus then I will change it.

I'd tend to agree with the lads here JLK.
Fully appreciate it's not meant to be in bad taste at all but it may be interpreted as such by some that's all.
There may be a way for me to bypass the 21 day rule for you if you want to pick another one and post it on here.
Don't want to come across as heavy handed at all here but I need to strike a balance.

I personally don't see much wrong with it, it's obviosuly been chosen with good humour.

Given the board is a bit slow these days I don't think jumping all over a new users name is going to encourage more new users to post either.

 

Hope it wasn't taken that way. All new members are more than welcome - especially since things are so slow!

 

Not at all when the first 3 people all gave the same opinion I thought best to change regardless of my personal opinion on it. Maybe I've just been in a relationship too long and I just compromise too easily now
