What is it that the fans hope to hear from Reed that Kruger hasn't said or can say? I kinda feel like this is a pointless waste of time, frankly. But I suppoe on the off chance that the fanbase prefers hollow "Reedisms" to "Krugerisms" I suppose it's worth a shot.
Well Krueger has repeatedly passed the buck (to Reed) when asked questions about players or managers. Now I'm quite prepared to believe Krueger when he says he's not the best person to ask, but someone has to stand up and answer those questions. Hopefully Reed will do that (to an extent at least).

I wouldn't say that. I don't put much stock in what Reed OR Kruger say, tbh. For me personally, the message the club is sending is that the club won't roll over and sell our best players, that we're working hard on getting a good manager, that there will be some money to buy players, and most importantly that they have the best long-term interests of the club in mind. And for now... I'm willing to give them the benefit of doubt and take them at their word. But sending Reed out to repeat the same message as Kruger, isn't going to convince me further, nor would it soothe me if I distrusted Kruger. PTF did raise a good point that Kruger has specifically punted some questions/issues to Reed. So I suppose he's right that fans will reasonably expect to hear from Reed and hopefully get more concrete answers. I think ultimately they'll just be disappointed as Kruger was simply dodging questions the club don't want to answer. I suppose there are things Reed can do... maybe not announce the list of candidates, but the traits they plan to look for most in candidates. Maybe a general date of when they hope to have the new manager in.
if it's just that again it will be a waste of time and they should just keep quiet utnil the announcement. The ****storm had died down, what is there to gain by speaking again?
I imagine you're right and that we won't get too much out of him, but even "no news at present, but we're working on it" is in some sense better than "don't ask me!"
I want to know more about Les the man. What does he do away from St Mary's? I've heard rumours that he's an excellent cake baker. Has he considered entering "The Great British Bake-off" ?
Tom Coull, the club's Audio/Visual Officer says he filmed the interview with Les and it features footage of the new Staplewood complex.
