The Vice-Chairman sits down to discuss working with Leonid Slutsky and review the club's transfer business during the 2017 Summer window.... https://www.hullcitytigers.com/tigers-tv/tvplayer?video=0_7d4emwvr It's annoying that we can't embed these videos any more.
****ing useless - wont let me log in and wont let me change password, says try later - well done Ehab - why don't you just 'communicate' rather than make it difficult YOU ****
It's just a load of bollocks. Basically says the delays were down to the manager identifying new targets. They got in all the players he identified. Great to see academy players making the grade in the first team (forgetting that this was driven by us not having enough first team players)
Interesting points from 14min interview for me: 1. Maguire deal was dependant on us having first refusal on Musa. Musa *uc*ked us over at the last minute. 2. Clucas had his head turned and asked to leave. 3. Hernandez would have gone if not for his injury. 4. Huddlestone was his favourite player (not so favoured as to offer him a new contract though!) 5. We're buying a machine from Australia which can predict injuries before they happen. (Don't believe everything you read on ebay Ehab). 6. Wouldn't comment on whether or not he was bothered Turbo stayed.
At least some form of concessions are back if were promoted The rest pure propaganda nobody's buying it, slutskys interview totally contradict the delay in signings bollocks As it stands I'm happy with our squad keeping it simple we still have a very decent squad despite the sales, the sales also hopefully mean a drastically reduced asking price In the future I hope we can be a lot more savvy in the transfer market and keep the wage bill down hopefully allowing more to be spent on commercial infrastructure/youth academy obviously when ehabs ****ed off
I just don't understand their management of players contracts. He says 'we're not a selling club, but obviously we'll look to sell if the deal is right.' Then talks about Maguire and Robertson being in the last years of their contracts and how that forced their hand. How about you secure them on longer contracts earlier (at the start of last season they were in a great position to do that going into the Premier League) then you can choose to keep them or try and increase the money you get for them? If I can see that and I'm not a businessman, why can't he? I just think, unless you are prepared to lose someone for free, you should never ever let a player get to the last year. Look at Hernandez, we now need to either extend an injured player's deal or lose him for nothing, that's ludicrous.
It's just videos from the official club site , you have to log in to watch , they used to put them on youtube
I've not watched it but I'm sure it was hugely open and honest. Ok I did watch it. His tie isn't done up, which annoys the **** out of me. He had his phone in his hand which was also annoying. His shirt didn't look very ironed either. Thank goodness we'll have a new regime in place sometime in October. Oh and hurrah for concessions when we're promoted (not from the video but just added here as a nice positive end).
