I read last night that a young 41 year old "Celtic" fan was been questioned by Strathclyde Police over alleged internet abuse of two players currently at Rangers. Of course it is wrong that anyone at all should be subject to racial or sectarian abuse, or any other type of abuse and it should not happen. One thing seems very strange and that is the speed that the Strathclyde police were able to question the alleged internet abuser. People often compare how word of this abuse only came to the media attention yesterday and the abuser was been questioned the same day. Of course, that is the way it should be. However it is been said, that when Neil Lennon and some Celtic players were been abused by various different forms of communication, phone, letter and internet it is been said that the police response was a lot slower. In fact Neil Lennon we are been told is still subject to nasty abuse on some football forums. Everyone would like to stamp out internet and all other forms of abuse and it is to be hoped that Scottish police will always be as diligent.
Arseholes are asreholes regardless of what team they support, no need for tit for tat here condem and hope he gets what he deservers.

I knew it would be too much to expect Trevor not to try to put the boot in. With the groundswell of goodwill for tis young man to be treated as he deserved, why is there no questioning of the lack of immediate action of the internet and other types of abuse that Neil Lennon has had to suffer. Rangers fans seemed to think because of the colour of hair and teeth he deserved abuse but I expected more from some of the Celtic fans.

It's a complete overreaction I remember Gamu from x factor had a page set up to support her....got quarter million hits on Facebook...it then became a racist battleground with comments from allsorts.... Not a single arrest Know why? Because it doesn't ****ing matter
It now appears it was ok for him (that idiot) to post racist abuse at black players at other clubs, however once he posted racist abuse at Rangers players he was arrested right away. Is that why Neil Lennon can be given treats and sectarian abuse until the cows come home with only token arrests. Some people would say Celtic fans have paranoia. I wonder why ! !
