Aside from the fact that it won't be my front room, that's the plan for me too.

I was offered a spare £55 ticket, foolishly bought on the assumption that someone would go without checking with him first. He said no, and I turned it down too. I'm not anti-Capello per se, but for me it has been seven years since I have watched England play and felt proud of the performance (and even that was in a defeat to Portugal). I can accept us not having very good players, I've had 20-odd years of that at Watford. But I can't justify parting with £50+ to watch a bunch of millionaires who patently don't give a toss, and who on the big stage are consistently shown up.

I'll always follow England, but a combination tight budget and the reasons given above mean that all of my football money over and above the cost of season tickets goes towards Watford away trips and cup ties.

I'm going to watch it but have no high expectations of a good match - just another example of these overpaid prima donnas ambling around and content to do "enough"

Spot on NNW - I used to go to England games at Wembley and a few away days as well, but I refuse to part with any cash to support the FA. I will be out at my local which will be heaving with idiots in England shirts....but I really don't care anymore.

The last game I went to was the first at the new Wembley - had not been for a while before that but wanted to see them at the new stadium - worth it more for that than the match

Shall watch it from work (well the 2nd half) - general rule is that if any one wants to buy a drink during the game they don't get served :p

Agree - H - poor show - again. Ashley wont have done his fee any harm - why only bring him on at half time?

Footballers and the management don't help their reptuation by coming out and say they are TIRED!

Blimey they should have had 2 weeks rest.

I'm rather they were just honest and said the performance was rubbish etc.

when is capello going to go, the after match press conferance was so frustrating, and the commentators going well he really has been an inspired decision to bring on yound, when we all thought he should have started, then Hart had a asbsolute shocker

GB - we are stuck with Capello till his contract runs out - cost too much to buy him out

As Norway said, we have to wait til after the Euros to get rid of him. I really feel for Hart, yep, he had a shocker, but the papers ripped him to shreds..that's just not fair.
