On this most sacred of days, I discovered that a member of my gaming clan, an American no less, makes his tea by using hot water from the hot tap. This is what they did with their independence. Wouldn't get this **** from Namibia.

Red Yorkshire tea for me, about a gallon a day, semi-skimmed, no sugar.

Although if I've eaten a bit late Pukka peppermint and licorice is good for the digestion.

    Yorkshire Tea for me.

I was obsessed with Tetleys Earl Grey Vanilla but they discontinued it.

This is a short documentary which shows why it is necessary for America to retain the death penalty:

Twinings English Breakfast tea for me, one sweetener, milk in the cup first, and teabag in the cup for a few seconds only making it magnolia in colour. No doubt some freaks will prefer it the colour of curry sauce. :emoticon-0138-think

I’m with you Rover, detest the stuff, can’t even stand the smell.
On the very odd occasion that I’ve accidentally taken a sip from the wife’s cup (don’t titter), I have to spit it out.
I think it goes back to getting a mouthful of tea leaves in a cup at a very young age.

Teetotal doesn't mean you only have to drink tea.

Milk in cup first? Are you a raving lunatic?

I’m sure milk in first was used when the tea was loose leaf and in a pot, with the milk going in the cup first to ensure the hot tea didn’t crack the china.

Milk in first with a teabag is diabolical.

Some Russians put a spoonful of jam in their black tea. They only have it with milk if pregnant or breastfeeding. I got funny looks...

I like to start the day with a decent strong Assam with milk. After (ahem) a couple of coffees late morning I'm back on tea for the rest of the day. Sometimes English breakfast (although rarely at breakfast, see above). Also Lapsang Souchong (always black and fabulous with smoked salmon), earl grey (black) and decaf earl grey or decaf regular black tea before bed.

Brew Tea Co in the yellow tin are good tea bags, as are Tea Pigs. Trying M&S Gold next on recommendation. Sainsbury's tea is a mixed bag (literally?).

The Chinese think you're weird if you put milk in tea as well, though they don't really do dairy, the Chinese word for cheese literally translates to 'bad milk'.
