    He has down on Wiki as a reserve player for Newcastle. This isn't who Pardew was talking about, he is just one for the future.

    Nah it won't be the player mentioned. Pardew isn't stupid enough to hype up the whole 'international' thing and then give us this guy.

    Abeid is just a young 'un. He was hotly tipped to be 'a next big thing' a couple of years ago, but I can't honestly say what he's done since then.

    Can't imagine this is the player Pardew was on about, but definitely worth a punt to try and develop him.

    we will end up with ****ing nobody due to the wages we offer. Which is pretty much if via a miracle any other team does not come in for one of our targets we might get them on the last day. If not expect the same old ****ty excuses.

    Youre right, our wage cap of £50,000 a week is really **** isnt it. <doh>

    We will still pay as much as pretty much anyone outside of the 'top 6' as they are now referred to as.

    Someone I know was in Shearer's last night when Nobby was there (apparently he was playing the trumpet) and although it's not this player Pardew has mentioned, apparently we're buying Ireland for £2million and have Curtis Davies lined up should Colo leave for Spain.
    **** knows if there's any truth in the matter or how Nobby should know our transfer goings on, but I would be pleased with Ireland for that much as he showed promise in the few matches he appeared in and was unlucky not to score against Manure.
    But....Colo, surely not? <yikes>

    The only concern I have about a 'Colo leaving' rumour is that he's hardly been picked by Argentina since he arrived so may feel that a Spanish club will put him back in the shop window for future selection.

    C'mon Jonas! Put in a good word for him...

    Could the other amigos be unsettled if Jose leaves? If so we will have to get a quality centre back and another good winger to replace them, good news about Ireland if true for £2million!
