The France Under-21-midfielder has signed a three-and-a-half-year deal at the club after signing on from Bursaspor this week but the chances of him being able to make his debut at home to the east Londoners are receding. Martin O'Neill is still waiting for the paperwork to come through from the Turkish FA and if they are not lodged with the English FA in time then he will have to wait to make his start. Meanwhile, the 22-year-old is looking forward to playing for the club, and said: "I am very happy to sign for Sunderland and play in the Premier League. "It has been my dream since I was young. "The Premier League is the best championship in the world. I have watched it a lot. "My first impression is the facilities here are very good and everyone has been very nice with me. I hope I can play well for Sunderland. "Everybody tells me the Sunderland fans are crazy. "They are very good fans, fantastic fans.
