McLaughlin and Flanagan have both been called up for Northern Ireland (they must be absolutely ****e) for next weeks game.

Absolutely no need for Parkinson to call our game off if we have one more call up, as we have perfectly suitable replacements in Sanderson and Willis (assuming he’s fit)

Fully expect the dinosaur to call it off though, which will then cause us a massive backlog of games which will cost us yet again.

Don't think we'll get a third will we? Just trying to think of who the possibilities are. Grigg mustn't be in, the Kosovan lad I can't spell is injured, benji is injured. Think he'll have no choice but to play. Hope so anyway, as you say we can cover it and I want to see us get points on the board and games played just in case anything happens later in the season!

Also when you consider that any covid outbreaks within teams could lead to a backlog of matches to be played at a later date.

Gooch? Could even give one of the young lads a game like Neil. Will more than likely be George Dobson though <laugh>

Might be wrong but I don't think Gooch has been in their last few squads, not sure if he's won a cap since 2018 tbh.

    McLaughlin!

Bloody hell that lad is slow. It's as if he was wating for traffic lights when he turns and " runs" back in a usually vain attempt to defend.

I'm assuming that Sanderson is better and quicker?

Hope you are right mate. We can’t give Parkinson any excuse, as he’s has pulled the trigger on our games in every international break since he’s been manager.

started slow and steady in his one game so far...got more into the game as it went on, liked getting forward as well, hard to tell off one game but looked confident enough, won his headers...steady and solid at the back willing tohelp attack when needed, fast enough to get back in position.

Once Sanderson gets in he'll take some shifting imo.
