HULL CITY VICE-CAPTAIN JACKSON IRVINE HAS BEEN NAMED IN AUSTRALIA’S 24-MAN SQUAD FOR THEIR SECOND ROUND 2022 FIFA WORLD CUP QUALIFIER AGAINST JORDAN IN AMMAN ON 14TH NOVEMBER.

The Socceroos have taken maximum points from their three Group B qualifiers and boast a goal difference of +14, with Jordan two points worse off in runners-up spot.

Left-back Callum Elder, who is awaiting his first senior international cap, has been included on the standby list.

Poland, who have already qualified for this summer’s European Championships, have included Kamil Grosicki for their final two qualifiers.

The winger and his international team-mates will face Isreal in Jerusalem on Saturday 16th November before ending the campaign with a home fixture against Slovenia on Tuesday 19th November.

Josh Magennis is one of four strikers to have been named in Northern Ireland’s 25-man squad for their forthcoming vital Euro 2020 qualifiers against the Netherlands and Germany.

Michael O’Neill’s men face the Netherlands at Windsor Park on Saturday 16th November before taking on Germany in Frankfurt three days later.

Markus Henriksen has been selected for Norway’s final two UEFA Euro 2020 Group F qualifiers against Faroe Islands and Malta on 15th and 18th November respectively.

Norway, currently fourth out of six, must win both matches to stand any chance of securing automatic qualification to next summer’s finals. They are, though, already assured of at least a play-off place after finishing top of their 2018/29 UEFA Nations League group.

Young midfielder Elliot Bonds will link up with Guyana for their CONCACAF Nations League matches at home to Aruba on 15th November and away to Jamaica three days later.

The Golden Jaguars sit second in the four-team group, having won two and drawn two of their previous four fixtures.
