There's an increasingly impressive list of players who have been called up to their national squads for the coming international break. Here are the names we can be looking out for: England John Ruddy Scotland Russell Martin Steven Whitaker Robert Snodgrass Rep. of Ireland Wes Hoolahan Anthony Plikington Sweden Martin Olsson Johan Elmander The Netherlands Ricky van Wolfswinkel England U21 Nathan Redmond
Not that I could see, I did check. Fer also hasn't made the dutch squad. Think RVW is it there due to Huntelaar being injured.
He was in the squad for the game against Ukraine in February, but as far as I can see has not been called up against Cyprus on September 7th.
I was looking at that. Norway seem to have a complete change in the squad for this game. Guess the Manager is looking at other players for this one.
City now have 12 international players (if Pilks is finally capped by RoI) and three England U21s out of the 25 man squad. Quite amazing. Could easily put out a full team of internationals!
I was thinking of Redmond, Rudd and Bennett (who played as an over-age player recently). I hadn't thought of Butterfield.
Forgot about rudd rick I think Ryan can't play this season as he is over age, last season he could because he wasn't 21 at the start of last season. I'm often wrong though!
