I thought that Sandro had pulled out too, though the only references to it that I could find seem to be Goal.com and Wikipedia!
Our OS is generally quite crap with current information though, so he probably is out.
    Hope it's nothing serious.

I think it was supposed to be some kind of calf strain PNP, but we'll find out soon enough I guess. I suspect whether the OS is right or not, it isn't too serious.

Now, what about the BAE mystery? Why isn't he playing for Cameroon, or is he?

He doesn't appear to be in their squad, despite a load of people pulling out because of injury.
Their manager is Raymond Domenech though, so perhaps he has the wrong star sign or something?

Cheers for info PNP. We can only be happy can't we if BAE isn't in the Cameroon squad? Unless it really depresses Benny, it gives him a much-needed rest, as he tends to be overworked for us.

    Very true, Ghoddle.
He was run into the ground last season, playing 44 games virtually back-to-back, til he picked up that injury against West Brom.

I just hope that Assou-Ekotto's okay with it.
He doesn't seem to be bothered by much though, so hopefully he'll take it in his stride.
