No premiership football until 19th October, our next game is away to Newcastle. Top of the table. Barclays Premier League Table . Barclays Premier League 1 Arsenal 2 Liverpool 3 Chelsea 4 Southampton 5 Manchester City 6 Tottenham Hotspur Joint top with Arsenal, Early kick off for Liverpool on Saturday 19th, and Liverpool have the opportunity to top the table for few hours by beating Newcastle away. Arsenal playing Norwich in the 3 0'clock kick off.
Looks good. A week off of Coutinho's recovery too. Newcastle could be tricky though as they're played themselves into some form. The break may work against their form to be fair.
We could really use Coutinho in this game after what he did to them last time. Can't wait to see how the 3 (Sturridge, Suarez & Coutinho) work together after a run of games. We'll be a really tough team to face if they all manage to click and develop an understanding. We'll we are quite tough to face anyway but having all 3 of them together would mean we have one of the best attacking units in the premier league.
It is exciting. I wonder how Spurs will react. After a result like that they need to get their heads down and work on it in training, hard to do in the short time they have with all the internationals coming back late.
Defoe missed his chance now. Hopefully he will get frustrated and we can pick him up for £6 mill at the end of the season
It 's unlikely for Coutinho to be ready for this game. A week early...due to return on the 26th. Cheers I wasn't expecting him too - but see it as another week off his recovery which is a plus. Tired of these internationals which are disrupting the League atm.
He's worth more than that though and he is their only other striker so they would want to keep. Unless his contracts running out?
Normally hate international week but I'm glad as it gives Cissokho, Johnson and Coutinho more time to recover without us having to play.
Thank you! I have only just got back from holiday in Munich and I haven't had a shave since I left. We have won both games in that time so I am thinking of keeping it until we lose next Not sure what work will say.
I did mate Camped and went their on Saturday, Sunday and Monday (as well as the Hoffenbrau House) before visiting Dachau concentration camp then drove South visiting Schloss (castle) Neuschwanstein and the mountain areas towards Saltzberg. We were smashing 5 steins a night which is about 10 pints isnt't it?! That night we could not find a camp site for ages and spent a freezing cold night at a place called Illertissen. I had a **** cold and one of my mates would not stop throwing up after eating some dodgy food. Proper nasty. Then we drove to Strasbourg and the Europapark, then somewhere near Saint Die in France, then drove all the way back yesterday. Was a good laugh. You enjoy it? One of my mates lost us and spent most of the night wandering around Munich What you get up to? *Also stayed in Frankfurt on the way to Munich.
Well amazingly I have a further two weeks of work as I hadn't taken any holiday this year until this week so I could grow it for a bit longer
What's scarier... Every game I've watched live this season we have won. The few I couldn't because of work or kids bday party we have either lost or drawn. The future of Liverpool depend on me watching every game. Do you think I can get fsg to pay my wage so I can quit my job and watch the weekday games live? Funny thing is in years past I could have sworn I had the opposite affect.
