Cheering on the USA ladies (and Megan Rapinoe!)…..and now they face someone called.....ENGLAND!!! Oh heck!

Been saying it for a while...he'll be playing right back for us next season. He may even be first pick.

He's too good a footballer not to be getting more game time, but he's not ready to play centre back at a Top 4 club in the PL.
He'll probably be in the Ben Davies role, not as dynamic going forward like the other option but more rounded

Two defining traits of class CB IMHO are composure in the tackle
(when to and when not to) , and having a battleground vision of
both what is going on and potential "what ifs" when the opposition
are on the attack.

Foyth has not yet demonstrated command of the above to be first choice CB.

I think that he might end up going down the same road as Dier, though I think he's probably more mobile and less aggressive.
A good utility player is often extremely important to a squad and Pochettino loves versatility.

I've been following and enjoying the USA ladies football team for some years now.Rapinoe's stance was deserved for winning two games for them..Morgan's…..I found very offensive......I will watch them no longer!!!

I wasn't about at the time of the Boston tea party Smithy so I find it hard to take offence, if it pisses off someone who thinks we should still be in that era such as Reece Mogg then I will applaud the girl, this country has far bigger things to fear than a footballer making that gesture
I worry about the orange child in charge of the nuclear button, Bojo getting into power and taking the UK out of Europe without a deal that could cause an economical " downturn" which experts say could last up to 20yrs and the rise of Farage, Widdecombe and Yaxley Lennon

I think Morgan was taking the piss out of the English, that I do not like. I appear more Anglosised (if that is the correct term) than I realized!

p.s. I'm old but not that bloody old!

I don't think that it was offensive, but it was a little unsportsmanlike and walking a rather fine line.
Having a dig at the country you've just scored against is setting a dodgy precedent.
What would an appropriate reply have been, had England's equaliser stood? I expect anything would have upset people.
