    - England u-21's win 4-0 at home to Belgium with Lansbury scoring 2 and Oxo scoring a late penalty. This is the Lansbury goal (WELL WORTH WATCHING!)

    - Joel Campbell, our on-loan enigma, has put Costa Rica ahead versus Wales and he's given their defence a torrid time all game. His goal came from a through ball in the box, which he took with a touch and slotted into the corner.

    - Arshavin has scored for Russia. It would be just our luck that he hits form when out on loan.

    - RVP has been taken off at half-time, thankgod.

Not sure, there's anyone else to report on.

Hoping that we see Joel Campbell at the Emirates soon!

Glad that RVP has been taken off. Last thing we needed was him being tired or picking up a kknock for the Liverpool game <ok>

Definitely. I was worried about him in this game because I thought Pearce would set the England team up more aggressively. But it's been your typical friendly.

Arshavin also assisted in that Russia game, by the way. I wonder where he plays in the Russian national team, because he seems really effective for them.

That Lansbury goal was insane! Wonder if he meant to do it?

  6. very glad we have no players in the England team tonight - it is perhaps the worst England team of all time.

    **** manager - **** captain - **** team - **** performance.

    JAYRAM? - whats up mate?
what could we do about a manager?
What do we do about captain? Hart? maybe - the others don't deserve it.
The team was to give outsiders a chance - the senior lot want sacking anyway.
Performance? - against one of the best sides in the World - bloody harsh.

Was Gerrard injured ? Not that I'd wish injury on any player, but it could be good for us if he's out on Saturday

I'd say his touch let him down and the ball ran into the player so he just went to hoof the cross in

No injuries for us and Gerrard injured. Don't like seeing players injured but him not playing this Saturday will bode well for us.

I do love the fact that everyone talks about Adam Johnson like he is some sort of kid that is getting his first break in the game and never bat an eye lid when he does **** all, while they talk about Walcott like he is an experienced player that always has to prove something every time he plays for England and when he does not gets shed load of stick. Yet, Johnson is 24 and Walcott is 22.

Pearce seems to be clueless. Leaving Walcott in the U21s before, now including him in place of Ox but hardly playing him. At least we didn't get injuries.
Gerrard was probably told by Kenny to fake one, and funny how my throat infections last weeks but I'm sure Rooney will be fine come the weekend.

very true, and always with the same 'no football brain' cliches. Now i usually turn off the commentary and play relaxing music or I'd have a coronary at these morons.
