Slowly, but surely, it is progressing, under Andy Awford's stewardship We have got a long way to go yet, to catch up with the standard of your Academy, that is for sure ! We have a few good youngsters coming through, like Ryan Williams & Sam Magri, who I hope will both make the grade. By the way, have you heard if Oxo's little brother is any good ? Let's hope so !!
I don`t know, but if he`s evan half as good as big Oxo then he will be good, only problem is that they have the same dick of a father and he will want him to move to a bigger club. Good that your accadamy is progressing- its the only way forward for smaller clubs ( I include Southampton here as well) without a sugar daddy
Williams looks quite good, but according to the BBC he's in his 30s (unless they've corrected that error!) so hardly a young prospect! Not that it matters anyway, all our players will be sucked up by Premier League teams for about £20k, as will Southampton's or any other club who happens to have young quality players.......
If Football Manager 2011 is anything to go by, then Sam Magri is going to be a VERY good prospect - Pearce and Magri dentral defence partnership within the next 5 years! You heard it here first!
