With all the upheaval around the new manager, this appears to have slipped under the radar a bit. http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/13730253.stm At least it'll stop the WUM's screaming unfair
It's long overdue imo though I can see the "joint powers" reflecting the coalition govt so ultimately pointless. FAW will have their say and the FA will think "whatever!" Will be interesting to see what the WUM's come up with now though. Bless 'em...after all this time they've now got to 'think up' something else
I don't think we ever gained any advantage from it anyway. We had one or two favourable decisions but some really harsh ones too.
Seems like a good solution but could actually be more problematic. Better to have handed over jurisdiction to the FA regarding competetions under English play. Depends on how the Welsh panelists makes his decisions, he might be reluctent to be seen showing favouritism and go too harsh, or other such matters as this might arise. If it's done properly great, but I can see complaints continuing in any decisions made against or for Cardiff(and Swansea), I am concerned it might be us doing the complaining because of unfair treatment. I would rather us be under the FA and have done with it, I would feel we would get a fairer deal. But nothings happened yet, so we wait and see.
