Check out Abu Dhabi journalist Ben Jacobs. First post that caught my attention was ...

    Ben Jacobs ‏@JacobsBen

@AJStead87 @ThomasStead GFH and the Bahrainis are openly speaking to press here. Just nothing on record to protect their anonymity

lots of questions being fired at him. Claims he's not ITK particularly, but has been made aware by GFH that the talking is now over, and a decision will be announced within seven days, whether the news is positive or negative.

I'm not for a minute advocating that this guy knows more than anyone else (and neither does he!), but if you like a bit of interactive gossip - go check it out. The bit that worries me is the bit I emboldened there. BH, talks over & we still don't know if it's on!!!!

Sheldon, or Elmo, or Ken - whatever persona you have thee days - ignore this & go to bed. This is a thread for big boys.

    Further comment that I didn't expect ....

    Ben Jacobs ‏@JacobsBen

@carrics3 no there are a few loans and unclear who owns stadium. More losses than you think. That put off the new Forest lot.

@lufctrust @j_saville1 @delhego yes Trust well on top of story and before anyone else. Sure they'll have answers before me. Good work guys

    See. I can twit too-whoo.

There will always be someone who breaks something just before it happens. This may be it. It's certainly easier to understand than the ex-MP of Harrogate! (Some dickhead twat broke that story!)

I am just happy to have been able to see through the bullshite while WJ has been ****ing himself to sleep every night over his incessant and boring (see his "Captain" attempt that no-one is interested in) threads.

If you want adult conversation, keep away from WJ. He'll only ask you for a tissue.

Talking bollocks as usual Ken. If you were able to see the bull****, you'd have been able to tell us what was factually correct and what was utter garbage. You simply did the opposite of everyone else - you rubbished everything. Nothing clever in that. If you've been following the Ben Jacobs conversation, you'll have noticed him mentioning that there have been umpteen twist & turns, so it's entirely possible that a lot of the stuff you rubbished was actually fact at the time, before events shot off at another tangent.

If my threads bore you that much - don't go anywhere near them. It will be a wonderful ken-free oasis that I and many others will be able to luxuriate in without being bombarded by incessant bombastic nonsense from you. And btw, if you knew your history, you'll realise that Leeds enjoyed its greatest success when it had strong captains. But then, you'd need to go to a game to understand that - and you haven't this season, so what would you know, ken?

Time for your bed - or your medication - or both! And try not to finger teddy again.

Posting on Waccoe that some may find of interest:

    Update from Boozie:

    Update:

All the parties are having a meeting this week (not sure which day) to thrash this out. This is make or break, they are trying to sort out the indemnity problem which will include negotiating a cap on liability if that will get an agreement. If they cannot sort it out this week the buyers will be pulling out.

It looks like there is light at the end of the tunnel, whether it will be light or dark remains to be seen but at least we will have some closure one way or another.

    Will keep you posted.

Good - They need to put their foot down and put an end to this nonsense once and for all. Guess we might see how desperate Bates is to sell, only worry is for me is that anyone slightly more honest than Bates wouldn't give too much of a toss about indemnity, the fact Bates is so worried makes you wonder what he has done that may crop up and some time in the future.

That 'update' is just so vague, anyone of us could have posted that claiming to be ITK. In a weeks time when still there are no new developments there'll be the usual 'Bates changed his mind, but negotiations are still ongoing.'

I'm not a follower of Waccoe, but I hear that this chap Boozie regularly presents ITK knowledge, and enjoys a sound reputation. I personally can't comment on this one way or t'other.

One of our new posters provoked an interesting thought a few days back. He basically suggested that as Bates hates LUST so much, perhaps he deliberately extends dates every time LUST heavy-hints that something is going to happen within a set timeframe. I wouldn't put it past him myself! Might explain some of the 'empty promises'.

Only time will tell, but I suspect this has happened:

GFH have loaned the club money in the form of an investment. This will come with quite steep clauses and is not doubt designed to place Ken Bates under additional pressure to sell up. With a transfer of assets if the terms are not met.

What GFH have not taken into account for is the fact that Ken Bates has used their investment to secure the new journeymen, whilst pocketing the cash from Snodgrass and co.

Once every available asset has been cashed in then Ken will forfeit ownership to these new investors.

Just my thoughts & I am not saying anything illegal has occurred, but why else would GFH still be hanging around?

Hey TC, I won £50 in a bet. I'm thinking of putting in a bid for the Wallies and renaming it 'The Leeds United Retirement Home'. <whistle>

Bang on correct Essex. 7 days from now we will have another post saying
"Deal will be thrashed out in 5 days time"

takeover debacle , It's never ending, we should stop posting takeover posts until we get official takeover confirmation from ER.
