Im wondering if the end of this transfer window could be manic with clubs actually playing on the night it closes. As an example we play donny, what if during the match a fee is agreed for sharp meaning he needs to jump in a helicopter/car straight after the game or even being subbed at half time! So he can complete his deal. Im not expecting any excitement for us......ive given up watching until midnight after the last few windows but jim whatshisname on skysports could be busting a blood vessel on the 31st, unless im a mong and it closes at 5.....
It's open till February 2nd this year. http://www.thefa.com/TheFA/WhoWeAre/ContactUs/NewsAndFeatures/2004/27097.aspx
Interesting, I didn't know that it was now open until Feb 2nd. That's two extra days of nothing happening to look forward to then.
Maybe we should put a 3m offer in for him just before the game so he does not play then withdraw it after the match! Lol
Jim White his name haha. It does mix it up a bit more. Doesn't the window close at 11:00pm on that evening, which makes it more interesting with the games finishing around 10pm, not much time to get any last minute signings in or out. Maybe we will get Sharpe afterall since he is coming here on that night, probably?
According to http://www.epfl-europeanleagues.com/leagues_transfer_window.htm it closes at 11pm. Can anybody verify this?
Considering that this site says the window shuts on Jan 31st and the fact that the other site is the English FA OWS, I'd say it definitely shuts at 5.00pm on the 2nd.
The January transfer window closes on tuesday 31st January 2012 although times do vary subject to which country you are in. ENGLAND.....PL and FL deadline is 23.00hrs (11pm). 8 days 16hrs 44mins left from the time of this post Thats it until the ""emergency loan window opens 2nd week in Feb"". Anyone who cannot get there business done by the 31/jan..?.....well its hard cheese.
LOL. Interesting to note that NP can stay busy on the final day as Lesta dont play until weds 1st feb @ home to M'Boro Live on sky.
Sky have released a Transfer Deadline Day advert where Jim White and Natalie Sawyer will run the 'midnight shift' showing all the deals made on the 31st January - the window does indeed close at 11pm. At the same time, Sky are also showing Everton Vs Man City, which will be interesting if either of those clubs have business to do - that broadcast will also keep up to date with the transfer dealings.
I didn't think we'd had transfer windows for that long, it turns out this summer marks 10 years since the current system was introduced.
