not 100% sure - but could be a very good reason for his lack of shooting.. if you don't have knees you can't shoot.. I remember 'Nando' saying something like 'missed promises or lies told by LFC management' when he moved.. thought those were just standard statements, but if that is more far reaching and this serious he could have revealed it then.. remember owen hargreaves and his outburst against manure doctors?
Surely , when medicals are done these sort of things must be picked up? I would have thought with £50m om the table he must have had the 3rd degree medical-wise!

There was a lot of rumours about this problem just after he left us, at the time I though it was a way to appease the fans but the rumours kept coming.
So was 'Nando in on it then? You say there was this stuff about him saying he was lied to by Liverpool (we all assumed that was by the previous owners in the same manner Masch claimed he'd been sold up the garden path), but if you're saying that was about his knee(s), and as he said it when he signed, this means 'Nando knew he was the proverbial pig-in-a-poke. And yet, IF this is true, Roman has supposedly sacked three managers because they couldn't/wouldn't get the best out of him. But Abramovich, a man who ruthlessly climbed to top of a, let's say competitive field, to accquire Russia's privatised energy resources, had a fast one pulled on him by a footballer and still treats him as an indulged child?
