Was on another forum just browsing through various Premier League teams threads and happened to come across a article about Jose Bosingwa and his impact on your club. Thought i'd share them and get your thoughts, they are quite alarming stats. Here's the article http://alrickbrown.com/the-jose-bosingwa-effect/ And someone posted additional stats for games vs 3 of the old big four ( Liverpool, Man u, Arsenal ), obviously you was part of it so it's just these three teams. So i've copied and pasted what he said : Bosingwa's record against them since his arrival: P13 W2 D2 L11 F16 A31 Since Bosingwa's arrival our record against them without him: P12 W9 D1 L3 F26 A13 Our record against them between 04-08: P37 W17 D14 L7 F46 A25 So to cut a long story short we have lost more matches against those 3 sides with Bosingwa playing than we have in nearly 8 years without him playing despite playing nearly 4 times more games against them without him than with him.
Good interesting read It's fairly obvious the guy can't defend and has had two good spells in his career with us 1, when he first joined for the beginning of the season and 2, the beginning of this season where since then he has gone tremendously downhill . If he's not sold this summer it's safe to say we'll all be very peeved
I wasn't aware of these stats--but it comes as no surprise! You would have to look long and hard for a Chelsea fan who had a good word to say about him. My guess is that if he wasn't Portuguese he'd have been sent packing!
