Hi Guys, I have just been looking at Yahoo and apparently we have had 10 defensive errors this term and 5 of them lead to us conceding a goal! Wow! Liverpool have made the most errors at 11, but only 1 lead to a goal conceded. There is only one team in the league that have conceded more from defensive errors and surprisingly its Man City. They made 9 errors and conceded 6.
Re. those 10 defensive errors: Spurs 2 (1 goal) Arsenal 1 (1 goal) Chelsea 3 (2 goals) Man City 2 (1 goal) The other 2 errors were v Stoke and WHU, neither leading to a goal. No defensive errors were recorded in the other 5 games (Everton, Hull, Saints, Villa, Cardiff), which implies inter alia that Turner conceding the penalty at Hull doesn't count as a defensive error for statistical purposes.
Defensively I feel happier with Bennett and Turner at the moment, this is a shock as Bassong would have been my first choice normally. Does anyone else share this view? I just think he has appeared shaky starting with the Villa game and been responsible for most of the errors as per this thread.
