The Swiss Ramble produces some very good articles on club's recent financial performances - here's one on City....... https://footballeconomyv2.blogspot.com/2022/04/cardiff-city-rack-up-losses.html
To be fair, the debt owed to VT aside, it sounds as though we actually are heading in the right direction on the financial side broadly speaking. Certainly nowhere near the basket case club as some would try to paint us as, with some indicators pointing towards us actually being relatively well run by the general standards of the division (not that there's a particularly high bar being set). Given the emergence of some younger talents now, some of which we will, ultimately end up cashing in on (even if it's low level sales of the likes of Harris or Zak Davies etc) then you'd expect to see slightly more positive figures in the player sales column too going forward as we continue our shift away from "seasoned old heads" being our staple recruitment targets. In short and in general, I take a lot of positives from this.
To be fair the football financial husbandry side looks well managed. ps Typo with 41,000 average home PL attendance
Did notice that but liked the sound of it so much I was happy to just accept it Clearly just a cut and paste error from a report on a similarly well run big club
