Saw this on the bbc and found it interesting so wanted to share...look way down for Hughes and sadly only a little higher for Harry at present.

Amazing! There was actually a worst manager (Mark Robson - Barnet) in the whole football league then Mark Hughes! Only one though.

Sad to see Waddock down there too.

Hughes would probably state it wasn't his fault and that no team he would ever manage would be in such a position.

If only! I can think of better uses for a piece of muck on my shoe than him.

Hughes is 122nd of 123 with 0.33 points per game. The manager in 113th place already has double what Hughes has at 0.66 points per game. Goes to show how shockingly bad he really was.

May he never be allowed near a football club again. Not even Chelsea.

Why not? We've had our turn, surely we should give them the chance to have a go.

Not sad at all, TIMK. Waddo, although a great player for us, was a useless Manager.

We should be thankful that Hughes has kept his gob shut for now. I've no doubt that when he is off the hook and free to speak he will tell us all how he was betrayed by the Board and by the players. I confess that I was one of those who kept saying that there was no point in getting rid of yet another manager so quickly and that it was only a matter of time before it all came good. I wish he had gone 4-6 weeks earlier. The three performances which stood out for me were West Ham at home, Stoke away where we could actually assess directly the "progress" we had made in appointing the Welsh messiah, and of course Southampton at home.

With hindsight he should have gone after West Ham but as often happens, we were lulled into a false optimisim by the difference in effort and performance from the team as a whole after Taarabt came on and promptly scored with a stunner. Exactly the same happened at West Brom - game thrown away by a combination of what can only be described as Anton -like defending, two brilliant strikes by us and then Bosingwa skying the ball over with the last kick when, frankly it would have been easier to score. Again we put it down to bad luck.

Actually Mark Robson is in twice at number 48 too. Average out his score and he's rather better than Hughes.
