... this could be a defining weekend in the Championship

    Burnley V Derby
    QPR V Leeds
    Forest V Wigan

...all tough games on paper ... Wigan one of the form teams right now ... and if they were to beat Forest then win their game in hand they would be level on points with Forest ...

Leeds need to get something at QPR otherwise their play-off ambitions virtually extinguished IMHO ... pressure on QPR to win - particularly if we and Burnley both get something from our games ..

Burnley V Derby ... can't call it ... Derby now grinding out wins whilst Burnley's strike-force seem able to score for fun ...

6th placed Reading are at home to Yeovil ... on paper that looks like it should be a home banker ... but Yeovil are certainly not going down without a fight and they could prove a tough nut to crack ...

    Exciting innit?

I prefer we are masters of our own destiny rather then rely on others for results.

    Minimum 80 pts please.

Thats only 3 more wins needed out of the next 14 <ok>

I don't think Leeds will be expecting a late surge into the playoffs, not with Wigan going that way, they would need 2 of Reading, Forest or QPR (ironically) to drop out. After the Charlton result, i can't see anything but a QPR win because Harry needs it more.

Burnley vs Derby is only going to be good for us, no matter what the result, I can see Burnley getting the win there, Derby have scraped their last couple of fixtures and think that they will be found out against the Burnley strike force, like when we played Derby at the KP.

Forest V Wigan could go a long way to deciding which team makes the playoffs, Wigan defiantly need to go there to win though, Forest already have the points on the board.

I think 90 minimum! Six wins from 14 remaining games isn't too much to ask.

Regarding the weekend fixtures as highlighted by FF, it would appear the favourites are all at home, so should be pretty straight forward. But will it be? Doesn't matter to us though, let's get that number of needed wins down to five.

I´ve looked at the remaining games over the last 4 or 5 weeks & wrote out a `what could be` on them all. Every time I´ve done it, & I did it alot, I got to 92 or 93 pts. Not speaking to load but..... there are 7 winable games left, but shhhhhhhhhhhh, not to load. :emoticon-0108-speec

Every game is winnable because we're the best team in this league. Of our remaining fixtures, Burnley away is the only one that I'd take a point from beforehand. Reading and Wigan away will be tough, but are winnable. We don't need to fear anyone, but at the same time we shouldn't take anyone too lightly.

IMO promotion will happen now. No way can we mess this up and even if we stutter as Queenie found out, other teams still need to win

    Actually, I'll think you'll find that's Burnley <whistle>

And don't argue, I know, I've played to a very high level of football.

My team won the under 7's 5-a-side tournament last year <ok>

Well I've been a season ticket holder of 78 years, played football to a very decent level (let's just say I was sent off in my last match for headbutting someone in a major final) and I was hand picked to replace me old mucker Alex at Man U, but turned it down. And I can tell you, based on that experience, that this QPR team is the best footballing side ever assembled. Since you've done none of the above, my opinion is superior, but we can argue about this as long as you like until you agree with me.
