So hey I wanna talk to you guys about the Eredivisie. After transfers like Eriksen , Fer , Vertonghen and Pieters I take time to look at the Eredivise ( dutch league) it seems like this league got alot of talent that all want to come to the premier league all these players cost like 5-6 million for a good talented player. a couple of names I noticed? - Clasie , good defesnive midfielder , a great passing - De vrij , a great defender whose really strenght is him being an amazing footballer - Martins Indi , in Portugal-Netherlands he scared of Ronaldo very strong and good defender - Tadic , a winger of twente with a great passing and shooting I thought like , if we as norwich city could make the Eredivisie our goldmine we would get alot of good cheap players. The best example of this is robin van persie : bought by Arsenal for 5 million (!) from feyenoord rotterdam.. comments?
Not sure why this got caught up in the spam-filter, but never mind. As to the Eredivisie, it's a topic that's been discussed a lot, and our resident expert on all things Dutch, Cove, is excellent at keeping with us up to date with the latest talent to emerge there, and the players ready for a move abroad. As to making the Eredivisie "our goldmine", I think it's already fairly common knowledge that there's some bargains to be had there, but equally there is in many other leagues. Rather than scouting a single league, I'd rather we continued to prey on financially-screwed clubs wherever they are, as we did with Birmingham and Lisbon this summer.
