Talking about the DVD of the Wembley Final Pulis is quoted - " I've not looked back at the game, I just couldn't bring myself to do it, It's a memory that when I hang my boots up in a couple of years time I will maybe look at it again." Does this mean that he is talking about finishing in a couple of years time or is he speaking metaphorically? To be honest myself personally I would have sat the whole squad down the night before and made them all watch it just to fire them up! But that's just me!
Would also have helped them to have some control over the game, mark Silver out of the game and break with purpose.
Yes guys, but...those are positive ideas, much better to say, "OK team, it is a privilege for our scumbag mickey mouse club to play the mighty Manchester City, after me, we are not worthy, we are not worthy" and etc
And if all else fails deploy the tortoise position, tortourously slow and predictable before rretreating into your shell in surrender.
I posted this in my matych summary. How can you not watch a rerun of loss to gain a tactical knwoledge for a future game - especially when you are playing them? ******ed!
