Just read this article - http://www.pinkun.com/opinion/it_s_...tion_is_needed_on_future_of_manager_1_3003509 and it certainly 'hits the nail on the head' for me!!' I think this one sentence sums it all up - It seems to be a factor of the modern world that every single manager is only ever as good as their last game and goes on to remark on how the opinions of ManUre fans on David Moyes' ability to take over from SAF have changed recently!!!
Very interesting piece, I saw it this morning. Raises several different issues, some NCFC related, others more general. Much easier to read than Paddy 'long-words-for-the-sake-of-it' Davitt
Good read JR. I agree that there are a lot more 'consumers' wanting entertainment and instant gratification these days. The response from 'Toad' at the bottom smacks of this when he says Snods has no right to have a go at fans until all 38 games have been played. Why exactly? Mightn't it work the other way as well? IMO, any judgement made before 19 games have been played isn't a fair reflection of the whole league.
