Might be enough to see them over the line next time? Will watch with interest. http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/36401972
If we were serious about moving forward he was the man for the job. Derby will be in the mix next season, good appointment. LJ has a big season in front of him, however if we are serious the players names being banded about are not wetting my juices at present.
It will be interesting throughout the summer to see if our supposed intent becomes more visible and obvious to the punters. As always I have my doubts as to whether we can get anywhere near close and the recent corporate waffle about the usual nothing makes me wonder even more. However never say never and let's hope our club wakes up to whatever needs to be done to progress.
I think the "intent is to consolidate" to get together a team that in 2017/18 will be vying for a top 6 spot ... should promotion occur followed by relegation .....doooooom.... about £200m will pass through the coffers over 2018/2021 seasons and that then should see us on the up down merry go round like the likes of Hull QPR and Norwich .... .....
Not an easy place to maintain yourself anymore and the financial greed takes more potential victims each year. The game as it was known has gone forever but not unlike most cherished things in the lives of the older crowd. Just noticed it's Monday morning - bah humbug special day.
