That is very interesting. I'd agree with the Attacking assessment there, except for singling Byram out as a poor defender. He has definitely improved 1 v 1 through the season, so would have agreed with this more earlier in the season than more recently. Hopefully when players are comfortable with McD's passing style, people won't identify us as not coping well when high pressed anymore.
That looks more like an away team's assessment of our players and how to play against us, rather than our own management team's critique of our own players. Very interesting though, all the same
I agree that Byram is a poor defender especially one on one. He does do a lot of sliding tackles that better players would skip past easily. I also very much agree we struggle when pressed and the GK doesn't come to collect anything I disagree about warnock being particularly slow though
Josh take it you haven't seen byram much this season? He stays on his feet and tracks his man extremely well and the second half of the season warnock stopped him attacking as much! Very little oppos goals have come from his side and most of our goals have
