Arsenal's attempts to make Argentine midfielder Ricardo Alvarez their replacement for Cesc Fabregas are in serious doubt after Inter Milan submitted a bid for the player. Arsene Wenger was confident of getting his man confident and expected to complete a deal for the 23-year-old in the next few days.
