Which would you pick? I'd rather have kept what's gone out

    Out
    Yedlin
    Lejeune
    Rondon
    Willems
    Perez
    Muto

    In
    Krafth
    Maximin
    Fraser
    Carroll
    Willock
    Joelinton
    Lewis
    Wilson

    @Geordieginola

I mean most the ins list as absolute trash

Wilson Max and willock are the only exception and ones a short term loan.

When you look at this it's ****ing dreadful

    On another level to Lewis.

Rondon was as good as Wilson and perez scored more goals than max and won more tackles.

Then you've got Yedlin who's a better player thn Krafth

Joelinton who's a waste space along with Carroll and Fraser who's had 1 good season in his career

When you look at out ins and outs and you consider the othe clubs have been adding good players it's no surprise that we're getting worse.

I would love to know who's making decisions on these transfers because they're so bad it's incredible...not just incoming, but why are they letting our better defenders leave and keeping absolute ****e?

Overall I don't think there's much in it, the incomings were £40-50m more than the outgoings though! The In's are younger (the ones we spent on) and that does matter.

Yedlin-Krafth. Yedlin marginally, though both are poor and back-up to Manq.

Willems-Lewis. Willems is the better player but not without risk, he was cheaper so i assume his wages were an issue. Lewis is young and I think is settling and starting to look better than he did so I don't think this is as clear cut as people are making out. Would have preferred Willems though.

Perez-Maximin. I loved Perez but that was out of our hands. Max is a very different player and much younger, Perez grew into his role and was at his peak, Max is not yet there and I think is a better player IF he can maintain fitness.

Rondon-Wilson. Wilson is, I think, the better player but Rondon suited our system better and we'd have been doing better with him in the team. That's a style of play issue though - I'm happy with this trading in theory.

Muto-Joelinton. Joe is actually probably the better player for us but we're talking levels of garbage here. We were mugged on both deals but Joe is an upgrade. Just.

Lejeune - Really rated the guy and with the injuries we've had in this position he'd have made a difference. If we hadn't ben ravaged by injuries there he wouldn't have played though and he was pretty injury prone as it was.

Fraser/Carroll/Willock - Fraser is a good back-up. Carroll is useless. Willock is a very good loan.

All in all no improvement if not backwards and 50m spent. Basically Bruce or whoever saying we want to scratch Rafa from the record.

Definitely let's not forget he's been playing schar cos he had to, he's played Krafth or Murphy ahead of Manq all season, shipped out Lejeune and put an end to the Hayden Sean longstaff partnership from day 1 to play a player rafa didn't pick.
