According to Physio Room, this is the current position on our injured players. Please use this thread for updates on rumours/training/Squad availability E Lamela Hip/Thigh Injury 12th Feb 14 Paulinho Ankle/Foot Injury 1st Feb 14 A Townsend Hamstring Injury 12th Feb 14 S Ranieri Calf/Shin Injury 1st Feb 14 Y Kaboul Hip/Thigh Injury 1st Feb 14 J Vertonghen Ankle/Foot Injury 1st Feb 14 If the above is right, Vertonghen, Paulinho, Sandro and Kaboul should be available for Hull. Would be excellent news, we so need Sandro, Vertonghen and Paulinho back
Looks promising. We should have a full team for the fixtures in March providing no setbacks occur or no others get injured. March will really be make or break I think.
Getting good injured players is good news in almost every case, except, just maybe, for ours, where the great midfield selection dilemma will rear its quizzical head. My thinking is: Surely you have to start Paulinho. He was doing better than any of the other signings with the possible exception of Chiriches when he got injured. But who do you pair him with? Dembele, Sandro, Bentaleb or Capoue? Or do you start Dembele and Sandro, who last year looked like our best pair since Parker and Modric. You would think Lennon stays on the right. But if so, what happens to Lamela? Do you try him in the free role, and move Eiriksen back to the left? Or do you tell Lamela to give the left a whirl? What about Soldado? Surely he gets another chance at some point... Anyone remember when Townsend was the flavor of the week? The one certain thing is that Sherwood, or any other manager, will get a lot criticism for any choice he makes, and a lot of I-told-you-sos every time we lose.
Spot on RWAEB but it's a good problem to have. At least we shouldn't suffer from player burn out with all our options! Plus we have the Europa league to try out new formations.
If it weren't Spurs, I'd say between the deep squad and the incredibly quick ongoing gelling process, we should get stronger as the year goes on.
Correct! none of these pieces of logic apply to Spurs. What can be undone will be undone and new and original ways of losing will be found on a regular basis. To Dare is to Do! and we will.

how long has Vlad, and Lamela been out now,and why does it take so long to get them fit, other clubs seem to get players back in half the time, need to do some blood spinning like they did with Bale
"All these back injuries! It makes you wonder who has been stabbing who in the back." When they do training matches, is Sandro wearing protective guards so that all his 'sharp surfaces' are suitably blunted ??
