Andy Robertson will be fit for pre season , it's a grade 1 hamstring injury and he'll be recovered in another 2 weeks.

****ers. He was injured in the first place and they rushed him back, and basically allowed him to get bashed around.

Jürgen Klopp has confirmed Liverpool are assessing an injury Paul Glatzel sustained during the pre-season friendly against Tranmere Rovers on Thursday evening.

Having been introduced as a half-time substitute, the 18-year-old forward was withdrawn from the action at Prenton Park on 78 minutes after picking up a knee issue.

Klopp admits the injury is a ‘serious’ one as the Reds wait to discover how long it will rule Glatzel out for.

The boss told Liverpoolfc.com: “Unfortunately Paul Glatzel got seriously injured, which is a shame. He is a wonderful kid, a wonderful player, unbelievable.

“The week we saw him [at Melwood] helped already, so when he is back he will be one of my boys because I really like what I saw.”

Not concerned about Mane at all. Just don't see him (or the others) going anywhere atm.

I think Salah would ****off before Mane.

Mane would be the bigger miss imo though.

Not bothered at all. Dont think they want to leave and if they did it will cost around £200m, which I would trust Klopp to invest.

    Yasser Larouci injury update

Jürgen Klopp hopes the injury suffered by Yasser Larouci against Sevilla will not be as serious as first feared when the left-back was stretchered off.
Larouci was forced off the field in the 80th minute of the friendly at Fenway Park after a challenge for which Joris Gnagnon was shown a straight red card.
The 18-year-old will now require further assessment.
“[It’s] much too early in the season to create headlines with saying the things I think about the situation,” said Klopp at his post-match press conference.
“Let me say how the situation is with Yasser; it looks like he was lucky but, of course, how it always is with these things we have to wait a little bit. He couldn’t keep on playing, so that’s the first not-so-good sign but in the dressing room it was OK, similar how it looks to Harry [Wilson].
“Harry got a knock on his jaw and a finger in his eye, so not too cool. He should be OK as well but couldn’t carry on as well. That’s the situation.”
Asked for specifics on the Larouci injury, Klopp

Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain has had a calf problem, reveals Jurgen Klopp

Liverpool rounded off their US tour with a 2-2 draw against Sporting Lisbon at the Yankee Stadium, New York.

Oxlade-Chamberlain continued his pursuit of match fitness against Sporting, playing 60 minutes, but Klopp revealed the midfielder has had to manage a calf problem which limited his impact against Sporting.
Klopp said: “He has been a bit unlucky with a calf problem.

“It is not a tear but something he has it from time to time when the intensity gets too high for him.
“He had to get through the first 20 minutes (against Sporting) when he was really involved and then he felt it.
“Then he was not part of the game anymore, which is not too cool for the others if there is someone on and off. Apart from that he has made all the sessions, which is unbelievably important. That is very positive.”

Naby Keita and Xherdan Shaqiri fitness latest

Naby Keita and Xherdan Shaqiri are back in training and will be part of the Liverpool squad for the training camp in Evian.
Jürgen Klopp will be bolstered by the returns of Alisson Becker, Roberto Firmino and Mohamed Salah from their breaks on Monday as the next stage of pre-season begins.
Keita and Shaqiri are set to join their teammates, too, with a view to featuring in Wednesday's friendly with Lyon in Geneva.
"Shaqiri and Keita as well, they already trained one session with us," Klopp told Liverpoolfc.com after Sunday's meeting with Napoli in Edinburgh.
"They are not here but they will come tomorrow because they train today. They will come tomorrow and should hopefully be a step further.
"Hopefully they can play a couple of minutes on Wednesday; five of six [aside from Sadio Mane] back, which is a good number."
