Any info on our injuries? Elmo pointed to his side (ribs?) as he passed Brucey on his way off the pitch; same when he was lying on the pitch and the physio was with him. Jelly - was it his face?
When he was down and the physio was with him, he'd pointed at the same place (right hand lower rib/s) - although the physio was doing the 'knee-bend' with him.....
Jela looked a little proppy a couple of times which was a worry, Elmo looked a bit out of it, either a stitch or a rib issue, Brady looked ok but still coping with the pace. Coming back against Spurs after action at a League 2 side is a bit of a jump up.
His role today was different from previous games. Today he seemed to be more intent on protecting the back four whereas in a 3-5-2 he is more free and creative. On the injury front SB expects those with slight injuries - Elmo, Jelavic, Long etc - to all be available next week
A few bumps and bruises but all expected to be ok. Aluko in for next Saturday so long as he gets through a 'behind closed doors' midweeker at Ferriby. Must be flippin big doors. Brady looked way off it. Not so noticeable first half, but still a way off. 2nd half became a bit embarrassing; he should have been taken off much earlier. He's still talking of niggling problems which is a bit worrying; suggests it either isn't cleared up yet, or it's really got into his head. Fingers crossed with Aluko. Would be like another top January window signing for us if he comes back firing.
Jelavic looks a bit "ginger"? You might want to retract that. Otherwise you could end up in the libel courts.
As I said the other day and got shot down for by the usual suspects, Brady should have been starting. Can't afford to rush him back again and aggravate that injury again.
