That's a tough one jon.In my book though an igloo in Greenland would be considerably better than the hell hole that is the Great Wen these days. Was ok when Regan and Carter were ripping up the streets in their Consul GT but since then it's all gone downhill.

You can get a nice little detached bungalow in the fens for £125k, peace and quiet, friendly locals. The exact opposite of London.

That's the trouble with you cockneys - you see property as an investment rather than a home. Buy a ****ty little flat in a rough area of London and hope that the yuppies move in to the area so it goes up in value or a detached house with a driveway and garden backing on to open farmland. Hmmmmm?

Personally not keen on The Fens because I don't like the landscape.I have to say though that I prefer it to Londonistan.

london is starting to annoy me slightly i lived here for 40 years and fancy a change of scenery -my neighbour said she got everything given to her free schools statement for her son and a cheaper and bigger house.I love parts of wales so i m seriously thinking about it next couple years or so .I especially like cardiff and perhaps on the coast
