(Maggie Byrne) still have any role in transfer negotiations and contracts - just a thought because when she was heavily involved - disasterous and not worthy of Sunderland AFC - so embarrasing - mistakes and problems galore - just think about out dreadful purchases - is she part of the problem with our current shenanigans - Congerlton's DOF -- well I,m not at all convinced - but no negativityfrom me there ...yet Any one help please ?
She's an Irish criminal law solicitor running an English premier league football club....... Does anything else need to be said?
Not really. If the legal dept is her domain and the Alvarez debacle is anything to go by, the term `not fit for purpose` springs to mind. I`ve said a number of times I thought the board was useless and I`ve seen nothing to change my mind.
Well it doesn't tack me lang pops but I might pay a visit to the cashpoint before I head ower. I'm sure Ive got 20 notes in the bank still. Might get a nosh wi that.
As DAParker said (#3) Byrne's background is in criminal law. I know of no evidence that she ever handled transfer negotiations and contracts here. I thought transfer fees and terms were discussed by Quinn, O'Neill, Di Fanti, and now Congerton. I assumed the fine print of contracts was handled by the Club Solicitor, Lois Jarvis. I don't remember Byrne ever being 'heavily involved' in any of that stuff.
fill ya boots mate, have a poke a prod, a di course you can mate, you have to be able to sample the goods, its sort of like a medical. If she aint up to scratch after a sample you can pull out of the deal, simples
Once I'm on the vinegar strokes there's no way I'm pulling out of a fanny. Wild horses wouldn't drag me away from blowing my bolt.
