I was at the Bolton play-off final at the Old Wembley and will never forget that day. I was unable to make the Leeds game, having shattered both collarbones in an ATV accident. But listened in utter delight as Ms Saxet fed me a beer (the things you miss without the use of both arms). I even stayed off the Vicoden for a couple of days beforehand to allow myself a beer during the game. Not the shortest two days of my life I can assure you. And now, after consultation with the Immigration Service, I have been advised that it would be best to remain in the States while my residency visa is under the process of renewal. Gutted - but needs must I suppose. Good luck to ALL the Watford fans making the trip. But especially those coming from overseas.
My visa is in process for the next 2-3 weeks, but I don't think I would have been able to get the time off work or afford a plane ticket...Sure we're not the only ones who can't make it but a shame hey. Also went to Bolton but couldn't make the Leeds game as was living in Japan.
Commiserations chaps - hopefully you will be able to make our appearance in the Champions League final in a couple of seasons time.
