The response of authority figures and politicians to the rioting really shows how useless and weak a lot of the people are who are in positions of power.

Teresa May is embarrassing in her foolishness and inability to address issues.

Darcus Howe - I just saw an interview with him on the BBC and he as an elder and authority figure especially in the black community was almost rationalising the rioting and almost condoned it.

Patrick Mercer MP - 'I was in London last night and I didn't see anything bad'. Another Tory prick.

This is really not what this country needs. Apologists and weak fools who are pussy footing around 'sensitive' issues - this isn't about race or anything like it, it's a about decency and law and order.

The politicians have to act today decisively or this will get completely out of hand.

Teresea is way out of her depth...then you've got idiots like Cameron and Boris whop dont think that it's bad enough to stop sunning it up on holiday to come back and addess the situation until after 3 nights of rioting

Lee Jasper's the one who gets on my nerves. He turns up everywhere moaning on about how the blacks are badly treated and then pretty much condones what is going on. He fails to notice that it isn't just black kids who are deprived in some of those areas and also that regardless of who is and isn't deprived it is absolutely no justification for the levels of violence we've seen. Kenneth Baker got it right - it's nothing to do with deprivation and everything to do with opportunism - people think they can go on a shoplifting spree anf get away with it- that's what they've done.

**** her competence, no one with a voice as annoying as Teresa May should be appointed to the cabinet. I don't want to have to listen to her shrill tones on a regular basis.

Darcus Howe was a twat on Newsnight last night. His argument that Edwina Curry was on no position to comment on the experience of black youth was fair enough, but does this mean that he shouldn't be allowed to comment on why white youths were out looting and rioting?

Darcus Howe has always been an opportunist, should be ashamed of himself. Only good thing is that he seems to be getting senile so he can't last long.

Isn't Lee Jasper the one who was found out in fiddling the books in Brixton not long ago. Self serving ****.

Be interesting if Cameron can face the facts and act.

We have had weak leaders for years and that is why we are in the economic mess we are. Leaders are afraid to stand up to the rich and powerful bankers, press moguls etc etc for fear that they could ruin their politcal careers. They are also, by and large, afraid to make unpopular decisions because they are afraid that the electorate wonn't vote for them in the next election.

Pandering to minorities, bankers, reporters, the US, Europe and many more; it is no bloody wonder Great Britian is no longer great.
