No one can deny that Wenger is a purist. I do admire that, but sometimes you have to be pragmatic, especially in a tough physical league as the Premiership. For all the skill and flair his earlier players had (Henry, Bergy, Vieira etc), they all had a tough side that could cope with the rigors of the Premiership. It would have been interesting to see what he could have done in the Spanish league, which requires less physicality and more skill and flair that his teams possess.
