    Actually CP according to the OED you have spelt it correctly! I think the answer to the point you are making is to publish a league table of officials "bloomers" as appraised by a post match "Bloomers Panel" . At the end of the season they are awarded a cup for fewest "Bloomers" and relegated for the most! The tables to be published in all national newspapers in the same way the league tables are!

    Our reserves got 3 points! I'll take that! The officials however--would receive NIL POINTS from the Bloomers Panel, and on their way down the Bloomers table!
