Apart from the ã60 million plus paid to the winning club by the PL how much,on average, are players likely to be paid in bonuses for reaching Wembley and how much does the losing club receive from the PL?
The losing club get pretty much nack all.. that's why Windass' goal was called the ã60m goal, we got ã60m, Bristol got nothing, only ticket revenue I imagine (and obviously prize money for finishing 4th)
Thanks TigerJames I knew Deano's goal was worth ã60m to the club but how much do you reckon the lads earnt in bonuses for both reaching the final and winning? (not that I begrudge them a single penny) Just curious to know how much clubs are prepared to splash out to get to the promised land. For example QPR and Leicester.
I wonder if Deano still wakes up now and then and says - "I scored a ã60 million pound goal" and then his wife says "go back to sleep you boring bastard I'm sick of hearing it"
Then Deano says "No need to be personal you horrible C***, anyway now you awake whip down stairs and stick us a pie in the micro"
