I'm a cynic about many things but not about team spirit, whether you find it at work, in sport or in other things you do. I was impressed by this, posted at 6:10, presumably just out of the changing room and not drunk [I assume] except on victory: Simon Walton ‏ @SimonWalton8 Close Thoroughly deserved 3 points! Very proud to be part of this squad and part of this club! We will never be beaten!! #pafc There are those among us who doubt the truth of what professional players say, especially on those strange modern media. You know who you are. Me, I think what's said on the spur of the moment is usually the truth.
Yes I saw that too notdistant and it's not the first time I have been impressed with comments by our players and in particular Simon Walton, he is one very proud green. Sensible is cynical by nature and I don't really blame him for that as I have also become more cynical the older I've got - cynical with life but I just know that Simon Walton speaks from the heart and no one, not even sensible can make me cynical about that!
Ok I give up then Mrs lalala. Simon Walton is very green indeed. In fact he is so green he is in danger of turning into a cabbage anytime now. Oh hang on............ I'm sure that the players do care. I don't thank them so strongly as a lot have done for sticking with Argyle because I just know in my heart of hearts that most of them would not have had anywhere else to go at the time. Be honest, if anyone had wanted them we would have sold them. This is maybe their way of saying look what you could have had.
